Biography
Chao obtained my B.S. and M.S. in civil engineering from Hunan University, China. My research experience covers a large scope of civil engineering issues such as performance based seismic design, corrosion effects and seismic wave propagation. My current research interest lies on multiscale and multiphysical modeling of porous materials based on advanced computational techniques.
